Jamaica Family Planning

The Jamaica Family Planning Association is a trusted provider of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services and an ardent advocate for SRH rights since 1957. This non-governmental and non-profit organization is a Member Association of the International Planned Parenthood Federation/ Americas and the Caribbean Region (IPPF/ACRO).
In its more than 60-years of operation, the Association has continuously served key populations in and around the Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Ann and St. Mary parishes – making its priority, providing high quality, affordable and confidential clinical services to children, young adults, and adults. Additionally, the Association, through its Programmes and Youth teams, conducts outreach to communities identified as socially or economically vulnerable to address concerns of adolescent pregnancy, high fertility, maternal deaths, HIV/STI infection, gender-based and intimate partner violence.

The mission of the NGO Caribbean Development Foundation is to contribute to the development of the NGO sector in the Caribbean region, by working with the sector and regional governments to redefine the role of the sector in the region, and its ability to impact on the policy making decisions of regional governments as an equal partner in providing support and help to the most vulnerable members of our societies.
